We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how these apps handle information when you use them.

Information Collection and Use

Information We Collect

Our quiz apps are designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:

Game Progress Data: Your quiz scores, best scores and unlocked content are stored locally on your device only.
App Preferences: Your selected settings (for example hardcore mode or language) are stored locally on your device only.
Purchase Status: If you buy the optional “Remove Ads” purchase, Google Play processes the payment. We never receive your payment details. The app only receives confirmation from Google Play that the purchase was made, and keeps that status on your device.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Your name, email address, phone number or any account details (our apps have no accounts)
Your precise location
Your contacts, photos, files or media
Any data on our own servers (we do not operate servers)

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK)

Our apps show advertisements through Google AdMob. When ads are requested or shown, Google collects and uses certain information to deliver, measure and secure ads, and may share it with its advertising partners. This includes:

Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID
IP address (which indicates an approximate location)
App interactions, such as ad impressions and clicks
Diagnostic information, such as crash and performance data

This data is sent to Google over an encrypted connection. Google's use of advertising data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more at:

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

US Military Ranks Quiz shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and starts requesting ads only once your choice allows it. Where this form is required you can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy options.

Google Play Billing

The optional “Remove Ads” purchase is handled by Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the payment under Google's terms and privacy policy.

Links to Google Play

The “More Quizzes” section of our apps links to other apps on Google Play. Opening a link leaves our app and is governed by Google Play's terms and privacy policy.

Ad Personalization

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

Data Storage

Game data (scores, preferences, purchase status) is stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This data:

Is not transmitted to us (we do not operate servers)
Is deleted when you uninstall the app
Cannot be accessed by other apps

Permissions

Depending on the app, we request these Android permissions:

INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: to load advertisements and check connectivity
com.android.vending.BILLING: to offer the “Remove Ads” purchase through Google Play
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: lets the Google Mobile Ads SDK use the advertising ID
VIBRATE: for haptic feedback

The ad SDK may add a few more permissions it needs to work. We do not use any permission to read your personal data.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Our apps do not require account creation and contain no social features or chat.

Parents: if you believe your child has provided personal information through any of our apps, please contact us and we will help.

Data Security

Your game data stays on your device and is protected by your device's security measures
Apart from requests made by Google's advertising and billing services (and the consent form where shown), the apps do not send data over the network
We cannot access your game progress or preferences

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
Updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy
Notifying users through an app update (for significant changes)

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store your personal data on our own servers, you have complete control:

Data Access: All your data is on your device; you can view it anytime by using the app
Data Deletion: Uninstall the app to delete all locally stored data
Data Portability: Your data is only stored locally and is not transferable
Ad Preferences: Control ad personalization through your device settings, and manage the data Google holds about you in your Google Account

International Users

Our apps can be used worldwide. We do not operate servers and hold no personal data about you. Advertising data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy and, where Google's consent form is shown (see above), according to your choice. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have the rights described in the GDPR and UK GDPR, which you can exercise by contacting us or Google.
